Marla Howell has been with the Firm since moving to Washington, D.C., in 1994. She engages in a diversified practice which includes representing debtors in federal bankruptcy proceedings, representing taxpayers in tax court and before the IRS, representing individuals and medium to large size family owned businesses in real estate transactions, financing transactions, and contract negotiations, as well as creating custom estate plans and asset protection plans for individuals and family owned businesses, including off-shore jurisdictions.
